AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): An Indigo passenger named Pallab Chowdhury was arrested with 16 gold biscuits at Agartala MBB Airport.

The passenger was traveling from Agartala to Kolkata in Indigo service which was scheduled to take off at 11.30.

The CISF Jawans caught the gold biscuits during scanning.

Getting information, custom department officials rushed to the spot. Weight of the seized gold items is 1 kg 800 gram, worth around Rs. 90 Lakhs.

The case is now under investigation. Pallab Chowdhury has been take for interrogation.
