AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): Husband allegedly stabbed his wife on neck and chest with blade with an intention to murder. The housewife is identified as Bimala Das. The housewife is currently undergoing treatment at Beilonia Hospital injured Bimala Das cannot even speak properly. The incident took place on Monday night in Haripur area of Rishyamukh block under Belonia sub-division.

Reportedly, 13 years ago Bimala Das got married with Subrata Malakar following social norms, soon after the marriage , the criminal husband started torturing Physically and mentally on her demanding dowry. After sometime the housewife was pressurised to bring him Rs 50,000, seeing no way the housewife sought money to her brother and her brother arranged that amount by borrowing.

But the criminal husband’s demand not ended, he again started pressurising his wife to bring money, centering this argument was erupted among them and she went to sleep on Monday night. At night the criminal husband started stabbing with blade on neck and chest.

Hearing her shout, the housewife was rescued by local people to Hrishyamukh Primary health center from there he was referred to Belonia Hospital. The injured Bimala Das is currently undergoing treatment.

It is learned that the injured wife will file a case against her husband Subrata Malakar after receiving medical treatment.
