AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): A 37 years old man named Dipjyoti Das who had gone missing since Sunday after he joined BJP’s victory rally was found in critical condition after 3 days. It is suspected he was heavily tortured as injury marks were found in his body’s various parts.

As per a family member’s statement on Monday when their son was not returning home, they called him. He picked up the call and said not to call him as his life in danger and four persons were after him.

The family also claimed they saw Dipjyoti was running out of fear as they switched the call in video.

However, as the victim is not in a condition of delivering a statement, police could not proceed with the investigation further.

Crime rates, violent attacks, riots have been spiked in Tripura massively. Tripura is the highest political violence affected state right now in Northeast.
