AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Many senior citizens were injured in BJP's voters' prevention process. While covering such incidents, journalists were also attacked.

An injured 78 years old senior citizen from Hospital said, “BJP’s youths beaten me, in Morning I came but miscreants did not allow me to cast votes. Police were not present, a group stood near gate, 2-3 goons punched me on shoulder then head”. The injured senior citizen is identified as Nalinakhyo Mukherjee, voter from Agartala-6, the injured old citizen also claimed that he (78 years old injured senior citizen) never faced such hooliganism in Tripura before. He alleged that outsiders' youth beaten him and the local youths were behind and the local BJP miscreants didn’t even try to save him. After getting punched from miscreants on head the old citizen before the media said that his head was in pain.

This is today’s Poll-Day’s bitter reality that many could not cast their vote and many senior citizens were injured after BJP miscreants were beaten up. Shocking fact is despite circulating various Poll-Rigging footages in Social Media and local News Channel, the Election Commission and Higher Authority playing slumbering role. No initiative has been taken to stop Vote-Rigging from authority which leads to many being deprived from casting votes under miscreants threatening.

Now Question is, threatening, hitting and beating Senior citizen falls under which culture? On one side BJP raises Slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jay’ and on the other side BJP youths beaten up Elderly Women ‘Mother Like’ aged. This is the reality of ‘BJP’.
