AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Tripura Election now a challenge for the bureaucrats. The state which has failed to witness a single 100% rigging free poll after 2018 Assembly Poll is reportedly under close monitory of the Central Election Commission. Though already a violent attack took place on Congress’s renowned leader and candidate Sudip Barman at his own constituency but State Election Commission has assured a ‘Free and Fair’ poll in this state. Police patrolling in Agartala-6 and Bordowali constituencies started from evening. Section 144 imposed in Agartala poll-bound Constituencies and raids are underway to find out any outsider sheltered in houses. Also voter help line numbers have been announced for the by-polls.

Addressing media, RO for Agartala-6 constituency IAS Sailesh Yadav said, this poll is going to be more strict and fair than the 2018 Assembly polls.

“No outsider will be allowed inside the booths. There will be continuous webcasting inside the booths and the outside will be video graphed so that no outsider can force the voters to vacate the queue. Strict measurements will be taken on the poll day and house-to-house threatening culture will be dealt with strictly. I appeal to the voters not to be afraid of any miscreant and to come out to vote”, said Sailesh Yadav.
