AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): BJP miscreants in presence of Police and Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and BJP Agartala-6 candidate Ashok Sinha attacked Congress candidate Sudip Roy Barman at Abhay Nagar after he reached the spot where a Congress party worker was attacked by BJP miscreants by entering his home at night. Amid repeated requests, the Election Commission has failed to bring control over the violence and attacks on the opposition. Terminated Chief Minister Biplab Deb is residing in Agartala categorically to control the poll violence in Agartala-6 constituency and BJP’s goons are mostly supplied by Jirania MLA, Minister Sushanta Chowhdury which is an open secret. In presence of the Minister and police, that deadly attack on Sudip Roy Barman took place at Agartala-6 constituency.
