AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): West Agartala PS OC, Police Officer Subrata Chakraborty allegedly molested Congress Woman leader Szarita Laitphlang during Congress's protest in front of the Secretariat on Thursday. Congress had organized the protest voicing against ED’s interrogation of Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. Later, Police also detained some of the Congress activists. The protest turned disturbing after male police were used to prevent women activists and during the protest, Szarita Laitphlang alleged that she was assaulted by OC-Subrata Chakraborty. He allegedly had touched on an inappropriate place on her body. While addressing she also had broken down into tears, swearing on Goddess Tripura Sundari to unseat the anti-women, torturous BJP Govt.
