AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): In a deadly attack, opposition CPI-M workers were allegedly attacked by BJP miscreants on Wednesday in Rajnagar hospital (Belonia) after they had attacked the CPI-M’s rally in Rajnagar of the same subdivision.
CPI-M conducted a rally in Rajnagar where BJP party workers held a severe attack on them. CPI-M workers refused to go back with the rally as the rally was permitted by Police in advance and then a clash occurred, which left 3 CPI-M activists injured.
After the injured persons Bhajan Das, Bablu Sur, Sukanta Das were hospitalized, BJP workers again attacked them inside the hospital, so that from Rajnagar hospital, the injured persons can not be referred to anyother hospital.
CPI-M has condemned the incident, sought severe punishment for the miscreants. However, so far nobody was arrested.
