AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman on Wednesday while addressing media in a press meet at Congress Bhawan, Agartala said that BJP’s house will be collapsed in the coming days just like a card house. Congress organized a joining program at Congress Bhawan, Agartala Post Office Chowmuhani when Barman said so. 84 active political party workers of various parties including BJP’s 25 party members from Dharmanagar joined Congress.
“Today our Congress friends are also realizing that Congress is the only secular party which can keep the country united. That is reason, people are joining Congress because it is the only party which can keep India united”, said Barman.
He further mentioned that Trinamool has no ground in Tripura as Trinamool’s promises about Bengal projects will be implemented in Tripura will take the residents of Tripura under heavy tax burdens. Barman said, Tripura’s revenue earning is just 14% which goes into state allowances and other structures and so implementation of Bengal projects in Tripura is next to impossible.
