BISHALGARH / AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): In a knife attack Rinku Malakar stabbed his neighbour Miton Das on Sunday over pending Rs. 50 in Bishalgarh.

Miton Das took some money from his neighbour Rinku Malakar, a day laborer by profession. On Sunday morning Rinku asked Miton to return his money but when he refused to pay due to the financial crisis, suddenly Rinku stabbed him with a sharp weapon.

Later he was brought to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital by his family members and neighbours. But as his condition was serious the doctors’ on-duty referred him to Agartala GB Hospital to get better treatment.

The incident occurred in Ghaniyamara area under Bishalgarh PS.

Meanwhile, Mitton's wife Bulti Das said that a case will be filed against Rinku Malakar after he recovers. Talking with the victim, it is known Rinku Malakar stabbed him in an alcoholic state.
