AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): Tripura TET qualifiers have staged 2 hours-long protests in Agartala demanding immediate recruitment. The TET qualifiers are seated unemployed even after passing TET triggering massive tension, and frustration among unemployed, qualified youths. When over 3,600 TET qualifiers are jobless, Tripura BJP Govt only recruited 600 candidates. Angry unemployed youths have slammed the Govt, and demanded they should be recruited immediately. Talking to unemployed youth, she said, “We request the Govt with folded hands to please recruit us……we have no other demand”. After Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath recently said that TET teachers who are hoping to get appointment have to wait till Durga Puja month, resentment has gripped the job seekers. Also, how many TET qualifiers to be recruited by that time, it has also not been said clearly.
Another unemployed youth expressed resentment over Ratan Lal Nath, the Education Minister’s various kinds of statements which changes from time to time on recruitment.
