AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Amid the former Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s tall claims about hospital services massive development and no need to go to other states for better treatment, GB hospital reels through massive crisis. Recently, the new Chief Minister Manik Saha visited GB hospital and requested the Doctors to arrange better accommodations for patients, putting an objection to the patients laying on the floor. But practically, no development happened and patients on Wednesday were found sleeping on floor. At the same time, there was no fan which had put the patients and the patient parties under a massive suffering.

Talking to the patient parties they demanded that the situation needs to be developed at the earliest as it is becoming suffocating to stay without fans in this scorching summers.

Loads of patients are also going higher in the hospital, and there is an urgent need for infrastructure development, and expansion of the available equipment.
