AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leader Sudip Barman has demanded immediate withdrawal of illegally facilitated escorts of former Chief Minister Biplab Deb. Barman expressed surprise, at how the former CM is misusing the Govt funds and public taxes by using a helicopter, not vacating the CM’s residence, and using huge numbers of escorts which other MLAs do not get. Sudip Barman has requested the DGP and Chief Secretary to stop the illegal activity and remove the escorts. Barman said, “Either Biplab Deb is unable to digest that he is sacked from CM post or he is trying to insult the incumbent CM. Biplab Deb might be trying to run a parallel administration downplaying the existing CM’s power”.

"This is a gross violation of uses of Public taxes. How come he can stop a College’s class and talk to students ? The present CM also should overrule such illegal activities of the former CM”, said Barman.
