BELONIA, April 20 (TIWN): A man was arrested in the Belonia subdivision for attacking a journalist, but after he was released, the accused again attacked the journalist and left him with serious injuries.

Reportedly, on 13^th April in the Brindama Tila area, gamblers held an attack on Journalist Kalendra Tripura. He is a reporter for two Kokborok medium TV channels.

One man was arrested named Dhanmohan Tripura in connection to the case but later Dhanmohan Tripura was released after families came under a mutual understanding.

But later Dhanmohan Tripura again attacked Kalendra Tripura and injured him seriously. The journalist is now critical.
