Locals of the Bishalgarh Baidyadighi area are suffering due to a severe water crisis.

Not only in Baidyadighi but in Dhajanagar, but in Kasba-like areas water crisis has been complained about.

Locals complained that even though 3 water pumps are there in the area but none of them are functional.

The locals also said, even though the DWS dept supplies water but that is not sufficient.

A protest was staged by the locals against the disruption of water supplies and the ongoing crisis.

However, BJP-led State Govt has claimed that it is the best Govt in the state from the angle of the water crisis problem solution.
