AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): Former BJP Minister, Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman has lashed out at the BJP Govt over farmers’ suicides in India due to debts and financial troubles. Addressing the protest programme organized by Congress in Agartala, Sudip Roy Barman said, “When Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister, loan waiver was a common thing but now the Modi Govt has no sympathy for the farmers. The BJP Govt is wasting public taxes on statues and Ram Mandir but there is no farm loan waiver. That’s why BJP is not a party but just a corporate organization...it is just a machine to win polls, plays vote bank politics. It’s a business institution and looting states”. Sudip Roy Barman further slammed the Tripura BJP Govt for depriving state’s people and giving tenders to other states' people.
Barman alleged, it is done in well planned manner in corporate style.
“Today people are suffering due to BJP’s money extortion. Yesterday West Bengal businessman was beaten up by BJP Juba Morcha members after he criticized room services”, said Barman.
