AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): On March 6, a youth identified as Jewel Ahmed of Bhagyapur Gram Panchayat was allegedly killed by Rahul Mia, his father Gayaj Mia and their relative Amir Mia with a sharp weapon when Jewel asked them to return his money.

A case numbered 37/2022 under section 341/302/34 of the IPC was registered against Rahul Mia, his father Gayaz Mia and their relative Amir Mia at Dharmanagar PS.

However, after killing him the 3 accused Rahul Mia, Gayaj Mia and Amir Mia had fled away. Later Dharmanagar Police based on secret source's information detained the 3 from three different places. And the 3 were produced before Dharmanagar District and Sessions Court on Tuesday seeking 3-days Police remand.
