AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Despite crossing 4 years of Govt, BJP led Tripura Govt has failed to keep its prepoll promise to 10323 teachers.

The terminated teachers wanted to meet CM Biplab Deb and as per schedule, the terminated teachers gathered at Astabal stadium.

During their procession to Secretariat, the 10323 teachers were obstructed by police. After that a tussle had developed between teachers and police and then police allegedly imposed lathi-charge where at least 3 teachers were injured.

After the Police's barbaric Lathi charge, many of the 10,323 many teachers were injured. The Govt's Pre-poll promises to 10,323 teachers ‘to solve their Job issue with solace and if needed, the Constitution will be amended’ results in fake promises.

Over 300 terminated teachers have been detained today from Secretariat.
