Tipra Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya’s Astabal rally’s massive crowd outnumbers Amit Shah’s 8th March Flop rally : BJP losing public support State-wide, JUMLA promises failing to attract people
TIWN March 12, 2022

AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): In spite of Tripura BJP’s all attempts to sabotage Pradyot Manikya’s Astabal Rally on Saturday, massive gathering by Tipra Motha supporters is a sharp contrast against Amit Shah’s flop rally on 8th March on same ground. BJP’s JUMLA promises & no development work in past 4 years resulted in losing public support in Tripura. Pradyot Manikya was successful in beating Amit Shah & Biplab Deb’s popularity as BJP’s 8th March rally was a flop.Tribal voters’ total absence was witnessed in Amit Shah’s rally whereas today’s rally, which was based on tribal community has comfortably outnumbered the Amit Shah’s rally.

Amid national parties' oppose to the state separation, the tribal population has blessed all supports to Royal scion Pradyot Manikya on Saturday as they came forward with a massive gathering to join ‘Tipra Motha’ party rally. A song was dedicated for Pradyot Manikya with the title ‘Bubagra’ (King) reflected that Pradyot Manikya is the next face for Tripura power-politics in the upcoming poll. Talking to media, Pradyot Manikya said, “Our demand is very much constitutional and it's a very simple, clear message to the Centre (Delhi) that we need our Greater Tipraland’.

A heavy crowd was witnessed at Astabal stadium though only Tiprasa (ST) voters had joined the rally. It has been the first rally in Agartala by Tipra Motha party after ADC poll’s landslide victory.
