AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Where is the Drug Free Society which was promised by the Chief Minister? Amid many claims of the Govt that Tripura became free from Drugs, addiction to drugs has increased rapidly.

Reportedly a drug-addicted man suddenly beat up a 13-year-old school girl identified while she was returning home from Vaulia slum school in Ambasa with her two school friends.

However victim’s two school friends somehow escaped from the drug-addicted criminal but she was severely beaten up.

Later she was rescued from the spot in an unconscious condition and was taken to the Ambassa hospital for treatment.
