AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): The TET qualified teachers today went to meet State CM, Biplab Deb at Secretariat demanding recruitment and to increase the ‘Vacant Posts’.
As in 2021 TET exam total 3600 candidates qualified and as per Education Minister, Ratan Lal Nath’s statement only 2650 teachers will be selected from both TET-1 and 2, the tensed unemployed qualified youths reached Secretariat to meet CM.
Amid teachers’ crisis state-wide recruiting 2650 teachers will be very less for which many TET qualified teachers will have to sit at home Jobless. Demanding recruitment of all qualified teachers by increasing vacant Posts, the Job Aspirants sought appointment of CM Biplab Deb several times but no response they had received.
Noticing CM’s silence, the TET qualified job aspirants visited Secretariat to Place Deputation Peacefully on Friday but the State Police detained the teachers and dragged them to bus like ‘Terrorists’.
Police brutality on State’s people is not new under BJP led Biplab-regime, as earlier the terminated 10,323 teachers faced such ‘Terrorist like Treatment’ from Police. Also police brutality was displayed with students several times.
