AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): All India Trade Union, Independent Federation and Association took decision jointly against Central Govt’s anti-people policy by benefiting the Corporate Sector. Opposing the Central Govt Anti-people Budget the Trade Unions, Independent Federation and Association called strike on next 28th and 29th March.
Today Tripura Employees Coordinating Committee raised 9 points demands in the Convention. The demands include to pay 28% DA to the Govt employees, to provide 7th Pay commission as per pre-poll promises, to arrange a Permanent solution of terminated 10,323 teachers.
Demand raised to fulfill vacant posts, to cancel job recruitment through outsourcing, to stop Privatization in Education and Health Sector, to provide regular scale pay to the Fixed employees from the 1st day of their Job etc.
