AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): The incidents of snatching and stealing are increasing day by day in various areas under Bishalgarh, but the Bishalgarh PS Police are playing an inactive role reportedly. It is known, theft incident occurred in Bishalgarh Jangalia area in Niranjan Debnath’s house on Friday midnight and the theft incident came to notice at 2:30 am.

After a long search the family could not find their stolen cow, it is known, 4 months ago a group of thieves stole two cows from Niranjan Debnath's house.

Within 4 months twice theft incidents broke the family as the cows were the only source of income to the family.

The family raised an allegation that if the Police patrols in the area then theft incidents would not happen. The family also made strong allegations on Police in front of media of misbehaving with the family when they lodged case against the theft incident in the PS.

Although various criminal activities including theft incidents occurred under Bishalgarh subdivision, but Bishalgarh SDPO Rahul Das has not taken any action.
