AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): Tripura's former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday has refused to accept any ‘irregularity’ in 10323 teachers’ recruitment. While addressing the Astabal rally, Manik Sarkar claimed that Tripura High Court’s decision about 10323 teachers' was destructive and later during the hearing in Supreme Court, RSS played an intrigue from the backdoor. Manik Sarkar said, “10323 teachers issue! At that time our High Court took a destructive decision. Then when we protested and continued that protests in Supreme Court, the RSS played an intrigue from the backdoor so that the 10323 teachers don’t get their jobs back. During 2018 votes, the 10323 teachers were promised by BJP that if they are voted to power, alternative livelihoods will be arranged for them. We had created an alternative for them. We announced 13,000 new posts. Who has canceled those posts? The inhuman BJP Govt".
"Now the teachers are not allowed to talk to the Chief Minister. If they go to CM’s residence water-cannons are thrown at them, police impose lathi-charge and BJP goons throw stones at them, send them to hospital........this is the condition of 10323 teachers made by the cheater BJP”, added Manik Sarkar.
