JUMLA Regime: BJP Govt failed to regularise SSA teachers despite High Court's Positive Verdict on Regularization

AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Deprivation from Social Pension to 10,323 teachers to job seekers wailing yet not touching the BJP Govt. On 13th Feb 2021, High Court’s Division Bench gave the verdict to regularise the SSA teachers, resulting resentment is brewing among the deprived SSA teachers.

As per SSA teacher’s statement it is known in CPI-M era the SSA teachers were in hunger strike Present Education Minister, Ratan Lal Nath and CM, Biplab Deb (then secretary of BJP) promised them after they came into Power they will fulfil SSA teachers' demand, which was not kept after coming into power. Later the SSA teachers appealed to HC but even after the verdict from HC, the BJP Govt disrespected HC’s verdict by depriving them misinterpreting the verdict.

A year passed of HC’s given verdict but yet the govt failed to regularise SSA teachers and to bring under Pension system.

On Feb 20 the deprived SSA teachers organized a press meet in Rabidra Satabarshiki Bhawan and exposed the BJP Govt for cheating them.

The SSA teachers said, they will start a massive protest against the Govt if they are not regularized. Over 5000 teachers are employed under SSA, reportedly.
