AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Tripura’s biggest ever Election Manifesto Fraud happened in 2018 Election when the BJP promised about 50,000 Govt Jobs in a year, solution of 10323 teachers issue, IT hub, SMART phones for around 25 lakhs youths, regularizing all Govt employees who are contractual now and unlimited promises but none of them was fulfilled. Instead of regularizing, thousands of employees were terminated. In the same way, 10323 teachers also left victims of BJP’s political JUMLA when the previous Govt was arranging alternative jobs for the 10323 teachers.

The death toll of 10323 teachers has raised to 126 as one more terminated teacher has breathed her last on February. The deceased has been identified as Mrinali Debbarma (39) of Khowai, Baijal Bari. Reportedly, since her job loss, she was suffering from extreme mental pressure and went into depression. She was last appointed at Banbari Senior Basic School till 10323 teachers were permanently terminated. Joint Movement Committee has condoled her death. Mrinali Debbarma died in a nursing home in Agartala.

Reacting to her death, Joint Movement Committee member Kamal Deb said, “We are really saddened. Mrinali Debbarma was suffering from mental depression and out of the mental depression she has died. So far 126 colleagues of us died. Govt should request the Govt to stop the death toll”.

The 10323 teachers are demanding individual termination letters but the Govt has failed to provide it.
