AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Centering 23rd State Conference on 24th and 25th, and to propagate on 23rd State Conference’s information among common people today CPI-M workers organised a rally in Border Golchakkar areas. The workers walked through Jaipur, Rajnagar, South Ramnagar, Golchakkar, Akhaura Road and Joynagar.
Reportedly, under the BJP-IPFT align rule, the border area has become a haven for criminals. Opposition (CPI-M) activists have been constantly attacking the area. It is noted that due to BJP’s hooliganism, no such program of CPI-M has been noticed in the past 4 years in this area.
However, on the eve of the state conference, leftist activists ignoring all fears, covered the area with red flags, festoons on Sunday.
State-wide various rallies, small gatherings are organized for the upcoming rally.
