AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): A 46-year-old patient who was admitted to IGM Hospital today morning died allegedly due to the negligence of an on-duty Male Nurse.

The patient has been identified as Nagendra Das from Teliamura.

Talking to the deceased's family it is known that the Doctor on duty prescribed oxygen but the on-duty male nurse did not provide oxygen to the serious patient saying Doctor did not mention oxygen in the Prescription. After the patient's death, the male Nurse identified as Tanmoy Chakraborty allegedly provided oxygen to the deceased Person as a show-off. 

The patient party said, if the hospital does not take action, they will lodge an FIR.
