Talking to media, Sudip Roy Barman said, “I do not have any intention to do politics in this issue but our full support will be with our youths. Just a few days’ waits. Everything will be changed”.

Various allegations came of corruption in the recruitment process and many BJP family rooted people directly alleged corruption, bribary in this recruitment.

                                                                                                   TSR 2016 Batch Issue (Another Burning Issue)

Tripura BJP Govt which before the 2018 Assembly Poll had promised to all unemployed youths of the state that within 1 year of Govt formation 50,000 jobs will be provided, but had failed to provide even 5,000 permanent jobs in 4 years. Moreover, the all ongoing recruitments were cancelled, few of them although was restored with High Court’s order. 

On yesterday, 2016-17’s TSR job candidates who were passed in the exam but could not be recruited in CPI-M Govt’s time due to Election, staged a protest in Agartala City Centre and after winning the Election in 2018, BJP Govt cancelled the recruitments.

Addressing media, the victim job aspirants said, “The new Chief Minister himself had promised us that we will be recruited in time but today, we have been sidelined, victimized”.

Not only TSR job aspirants but a huge number of unemployed youths were targeted due to BJP Govt-led ‘cancellation of ongoing recruitment’ in 2018 and those posts could not be filled up yet in 2022. 

The victim unemployed youths further stated, “We were authentically recruited and the Govt failed to prove that any corruption was held but by cancelling our names, this Govt recruited new people via corruption”.
