AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Uncontrollable attacks on CPI-M and opposition party workers' houses by BJP goons have been destroyed Social Peace for past 4 years.

Reportedly, on the joint initiative of DYFI and TYF, a huge rally was organized on Sunday statewide.

After the programmes were over, BJP miscreants ransacked CPI-M's West Tripura District committee member Swapan Deb and local committee Secretary Uttam Saha’s houses in Gandhigram. BJP goons rushed CPIM workers' houses with sharp weapons, when only women were present at home. Today, Former CM Manik Sarkar visited the affected CPI-M workers' houses and condemned the attack, and tagged it as ‘POLITICAL COWARDICE ACT’.

Condemning the attack Sarkar said, “Before Election, BJP said that after coming into power, Jobs will be given on Miscall, 50,000 vacant posts will be filled-up within a year but nothing has happened, which created disappointment among the unemployed youths and splitting has started in the BJP party already. To sustain existence of the party, by feeding money to the anti-social groups violent incidents are being occurred against the CPI-M party members".
