AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Tripura BJP which has been suffering due to the “Biplab Hatao” rebellion inside the party, now undergoing “Manik Hatao” trend. Just weeks ago BJP's heavyweight MLAs had resigned from the party and joined Congress but BJP's crisis is not to end now. A new trouble for BJP now as a section of BJP members are demanding resignation of Manik Saha from State BJP President's post. Sources say many top leaders are secretly behind the letter. The members of the BJP claim that they are working for BJP for over 30 years but in the last 26 months, there are lots of disturbances inside the party and the kariyakartas are demotivated and the Mandal level works are very week. The letter mentioned how 70% areas that belong to the ADC are most likely to gran almost all the seats and there are many elections till the 2023 Assembly Poll.

Amid major allegations brought against Chief Minister Biplab Deb for “not giving freedom to MLAs, Ministers to work independently”, now Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb attempted to gain sympathy from the MLAs and called them in a meeting where the MLAs were allowed to place their demands and discuss organizational matters.

But in the meeting, many MLAs, including Minister Ram Prasad Pal was seen absent.

Recently, the BJP’s long-time members wrote a letter to State BJP President Manik Saha to resign from the post but CM Biplab Deb held the meeting, keeping Manik Saha beside. Many MLAs remained absent in the meeting.
