AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): JUMLA shocks continue to hit the unemployed youths in Tripura. Since the BJP Govt is formed the Education Minister, Ratan Lal Nath, and Chief Minister Biplab Deb the duo generating doubt among TET qualified Job aspirants over their changing statement about TET Vacant Posts. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath in 2018 in a press meet stated that 14,000 TET posts remained vacant Post but there is no Eligible Candidate and then in the same year in another Press meet he told 12,222 teacher posts remained vacant according to Students’ strength.

After his statement, several unemployed Educated youths from poor families completed B.ed or D.el.ed Teaching Professional Course by taking loans from banks and many by selling Properties. 

But recently on 13th Feb the E.Minister Nath changed his statement and stated that the TET pass does means that the candidate will get a job, but it means the candidate has enrolled his name in ‘Waiting List’.

Over EM’s changing statement on Thursday TET qualified teacher organized a press meet and said, “CM, Biplab Deb in 2019 told around 5,000 Teachers post remained vacant and accordingly TET relaxation exam was taken in 2019 and total 1,100 TET Qualified candidates were selected, and after selection 3900 Post remained vacant, which means more teachers are needed to fillip the Vacant Posts”.

Now the question is, if TET posts remained vacant as per EM and CM’s statement then why did the TET qualified teachers remain Jobless? Demanding recruitment, the TET Qualified teacher also met met EM, Ratan Lal Nath at his residence.

Over delay of the recruitment resentment erupted among TET qualified teachers.
