AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): BJP- sheltered miscreants around 10-15 numbers with sharp weapons attacked on CPI-M worker Adhir Nama Sudra’s house on Sunday in North Shingi Chara under Khowai PS.

CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar rushed to Adhir Nama Sudra’s house along with local CPI-M, DYFI leaders. After observing the situation and talking to the locals, Pabitra Kar said, “Around 10-15 BJP hooligans with sharp weapons cut the room fence and then they set fire on clothes, and had thrown the fireball clothes inside the house. Local on hearing the shout came out from houses and chased the miscreants to half kilometer away”

Kar appreciated the resistance done by the locals and said, “Like the locals of this areas, people should come forward bravely, and to get prepared so that miscreants cannot get chance to escape”

The matter was informed to the former MLA and a case will be filed against the miscreants accordingly. Pabitra Kar appreciated the "PALTA" (locally used Bengali term of self-defence or resistance and asked the locals to resist like this unitedly so that the BJP’s miscreants cannot escape in the future.
