AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): The CPI-M party held a protest against the barbaric murder of its party worker Benu Biswas in Belonia.

A massive rally was organized in Agartala demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.

On the other side, in Belonia, local people organized a road blockade demanding arrests of the culprits.

The murder was allegedly done by BJP members under the leadership of 1) Joydeb Sarkar, a member of Belonia sub-division’s Raj Nagar Panchayat Samity, and another local BJP leader 2) Manik Sarkar.
