BELONIA, Feb 11 (TIWN): BJP leader Joydeb Sarkar, Rajnagar Panchayat Samiti member and BJP leader Manik Sarkar along with a few others allegedly beat comrade Benu Biswas in Kamalpur Bazar on Thursday evening brutally. When the family members brought him to Nihar Nagar Hospital, the on-duty Doctors declared him dead.

Despite murdering Benu Biswas and even after having enough evidences Police failed to detain the criminals which erupted angst among local People. Centering this, today the local people blocked road in protest and demanded Justice, arrests of the criminals.

The BJP leaders Joydeb Sarkar and Manik Sarkar have allegedly established terror situations in Rajnagar Assembly for the last 4 years and have beaten many people in the area. Report also says, a few days ago, Benu Biswas's elder brother Bhanu Biswas was also beaten by BJP miscreants.

The CPI-M party's Belonia sub divisional committee strongly condemned the incident, and MLA Sudhan Das informed the incident to SI of Belonia PS and demanded the arrest of the culprits.

Locals continue road blockade in the area demanding arrests of the murderers.
