AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): Govt moves towards Privatization to make everything Privatized, which means to hand over to the public or private sector to control. The employees of ICAR department, who have been providing service as Driver, Technicians, Administrative workers for the last 20-25 years, today organized protests as they are told that they are under contractors. The shocking information hit the workers as BJP before 2018 had promised all contractual employees about making them permanent employees.

The Protest is continuing in Lembuchhara, Mohanpur subdivision after Govt’s move to hand over the Department in Private Sector. The resented workers informed that they are on strike for the past nine days by keeping their work stopped.

Opposing the Privatization of the ICAR department, the employees had given an application but no fruitful result they got.

The employees said they will continue their protest until the matter is not resolved.
