AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): A teenager is going missing for 5 days and Amtali police remain clueless.
The family of the girl alleged, the police did not lodge FIR initially and asked the family to bring an application after one day. When the family took the application, police told them that the application is badly written and the complaint can not be registered. However, at last the complaint was registered but the police’s role was in slumber and so far they are clueless about the missing girl.
The incident took place at Amtali’s Kathaltali area.
Talking to the girl’s sister and mother they said, the victim was initially silent for few days and later when they insisted she told them that a man named Guddu had developed a friendship with her but taking the opportunity of the situation, he molested her. When her family went to Guddu’s home, they found Guddu is married and has a son. Then, the family of Guddu threatened the victim’s family not to take a legal step or it will not be good for the girl.
The family did not immediately lodge any case against Guddhu but suddenly she is going missing and her phone is switched off.
Family is afraid by thinking, whether she is safe or not.
“We want our girl back safely. Guddu is a drug paddler and his family is very violent. The police is doing nothing to find our girl”, said the family.
