AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Hanging dead body of a housewife recovered from in-laws house mysteriously, the incident took place in Dhanchhari area under Bishalgarh PS.

The deceased housewife was identified as Chandana Sarkar. The brother of the deceased housewife Chandana Sarkar complained that her husband Sajal Malakar and brother-in-law Raju Malakar were constantly torturing her physically and mentally. The matter was earlier has already been resolved through several arbitration meetings between the two families but the torture was not stopped on the housewife.

On the other hand, the housewife's in laws member stated that the housewife's husband Sajal Malakar and his child was in Kali Puja next door to them since Monday evening. When the husband, Sajal Malakar and his child came to the house on Tuesday morning, found his wife’s hanging body in locked room. The in-laws also stated that the dead woman had been in a state of mental imbalance for a long time.

However, the news was given to Bishalgarh Women's PS, Police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for an autopsy.

Case was lodged at Bishalgarh Women's PS on behalf of the deceased's father's house and the cause of death will come out after police investigation
