AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): A housewife named Jhuma Debnath while sleeping with her 1-year-old child on Tuesday morning her criminal husband allegedly started beating her with sharp weapon and stick, incident took place in Golaghati area under Bishalgarh PS.

The injured housewife Jhuma was taken to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment by her neighbours.

Reportedly, Jhuma Debnath was married to Dipen Saha of Rautkhla area under Bishalgarh police station in Golaghati area, socially. But 1 year after marriage the husband started extreme torture on her.

The culprit husband Dipen Saha has increased torturing on his wife, Jhuma physically and mentally after their son’s birth in alcoholic state. The criminal husband even tried to kill his 1-year-old son, allegedly.

The Victim housewife lodged a written complaint at Bishalgarh Women PS earlier but nothing happened.
