AGARTALA, 29 (TIWN): Bypass surgery successfully was done in GBP hospital, for the first time (Off-Pump Bypass Surgery) this surgery is done at AGMC and GBP in Tripura. Reportedly, blood transfusion was not needed in this operation. The operation was done under the 4 teams of Doctors.
The 36 year old patient is stable now.
The entire operation details were briefed by Dr. Kanak Narayan Bhattacharya, Consultant & In-charge Cardiac Surgeon, CTVS & IR Department at a press conference at AGMC and GBP Hospital.
However, the Doctors said such kind of operation will happen in the future also.
