AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman and MLA Asish Saha on Thursday have visited Udaipur, Gomati Dist, met party members.
Both the MLAs have declared to quit BJP ahead of 2023 Election and they will not be fighting in the Election with BJP’s symbol.
Talking to the media, BJP MLA Sudip Barman said, “Today BJP workers are attacked by goons. Law and order are on the verge of collapse. The people who established the BJP in Tripura have no value in the party. People have already rejected the party. A fearful, suffocating, undemocratic environment has gripped the public mind. Question does not arise to stay in the BJP. We do politics for people and we are reviewing people’s mindset”.
