AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): Tripura Police on Thursday have arrested 10323 teachers who gathered at Agartala City Center to observe “Black Day”. The “Black Day” was observed as last year on the same date, police’s brutal attacks leftover 500 terminated teachers injured when the teachers were peacefully agitating for 52 days at Agartala City Center. But during the protest, the 10323 teachers were arrested by Police. The agitating teachers raised slogans “Narendra Modi Hay, Hay, Chief Minister Hay Hay, Education Minister Hay Hay”.

10323 teachers lost their jobs after Courts had cited irregularities in the recruitment process. BJP before 2018 Assembly Election verbally and in written forms promised to give a permanent solution to the teachers’ problems but after four years of the BJP Govt in Tripura, nothing could be done and so far the death toll among the 10323 teachers raised to 123.
