AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): A family lodged FIR against Doctor alleging ‘Wrong Treatment’ in Khowai District hospital. The incident happened on Republic Day, triggered tension in the hospital. A woman who was admitted to Khowai District Hospital breathed last while undergoing treatment but her family members alleged she died due to negligence of the Doctor. The deceased woman’s son claimed that his mother was admitted with enough good health condition but after an on-duty Doctor pushed her wrong injection, she breathed last. The dead woman’s son demanded punishment against the Doctor, he also said that case will be registered at PS against the Doctor.
“I will lodge an FIR in the Police station because my mother was fully well before she was admitted to the hospital. After the injection was given, she died. I demand punishment of the Doctor”, said the deceased’s son.
