AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress on Wednesday on the occasion of Republic Day has slammed the political parties which are trying to rule the nation with a “divide and rule” policy.
“After 200 years of tortures, India got freedom from the tyranny of the British but the British technique of divide and rule has not yet gone fully. A section of political parties is still trying to rule the nation by creating a disturbance in the harmony. They are trying to divide communities based on religion, divide citizens based on religion. Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee has been giving a message of unity to the nation. Trinamool Congress will fight to take the nation to the correct direction”, said Subal Bhowmik, Trinamool Congress State Convener.
