AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Priya Deb a school girl from Rajib Colony area in Bishalgarh was hit by a bike rider named Gourab Deb while she was on the way to school on September 20 last year.
After 6 days of treatment in Bishalgarh Hospital and TMC hospital, Priya was brought to home but yet she is ill.
It is reported Priya Deb’s mother several times rushed to Bishalgarh PS to file a case against Gourab Deb but Police refused to take a case against Gourab Deb, as he is a close relative of a Police official. Oppositely the victim's family is unable to continue her treatment as the family is poor.
After informing the matter to the Charilam Mandal committee no development came to the manner.
Finally, the student's mother again approached the media on Tuesday and sought public support. That student was studying in ninth class, but due to her health, her study is disrupted.
