AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers’ death toll has spiked up to 123 as one more teacher has passed away leaving his family behind. Chinmoy Chaka, former GT Teacher, resident of Pecharthal has died at night 1.30 am. Reacting to the death of the terminated teacher, Joint Movement Committee member Bijoy Krishna Saha said, “What was the fault of Chinmoy Chakma who died today? Govt of Tripura held recruitment and due to some irregularities made by the Govt, we were said as terminated even though when we filed a writ petition to the Supreme Court which said, we were never made a subject to the 10323 teachers case. We wanted to meet the Education Minister, CM Biplab Deb many times but no appointment we have received so far”.
“The CM has a lot of time to visit various places and can pray for 37 lakhs people of Tripura on Makar Sankranti. So, don’t we belong to the 37 lakhs of the population?”, asked Bijoy Krishna Saha.
