AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Tripura former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said the State BJP Govt should not be so shameless that it has started talking about Covid management as a part of “Sushanshan”. The statement came from Manik Sarkar after hundreds of Covid deaths happened in Tripura amid massive mismanagement and State and Central BJP Govts’ recent claims about Covid management as a part of good governance. In Tripura hundreds of people died amid lack of oxygen supplies and many patient parties claimed for not getting any proper treatment in GB hospital, viral videos are still on social media during the Covid’s anarchy in state and Covid Care Centres turned into hells due to no cleanliness, no proper management.Today Manik Sarkar said, “The BJP should have some shame when it’s talking about Covid management. Even Tripura Govt totally failed to manage the Covid situation".
Sarkar further said, "CM himself promised to give Rs. 10 lakhs to the Covid death victims. Where are those compensations ?”
“People have stopped going to Govt hospitals in Tripura due to pathetic conditions of the hospitals”, added Sarkar.
