AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): A 24 year old housewife identified as Swarasati Debnath has committed suicide after consuming poison centering quarrel with husband. The incident took place in Ananda Nagar area.

The critically injured housewife was immediately brought to Agartala GB hospital. But the housewife breathed last while undergoing treatment at GB hospital.

Talking with the deceased's family it is known that Saraswati Debnath got married to Dilip Debnath 7 years before and her husband is a driver by profession.

On hearing the death news the family broke down into tears.
