AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): Tripura BJP is gripped in massive infighting for years. When one of its MLA has already resigned, more on in the row. There is an open fight between Sudip Roy Barman and CM Biplab Deb and recently with Sudip Barman’s visit to ABVP’s programme had ended up in a bloody fight among the BJP. Back in 2020, BJP experienced a massive open fight, when thousands of BJP supporters gathered with the arrival of BJP national leader Vinod Sonkar and raised, “Biplab Hatao” slogan. With the UP’s current situation, however, there is no doubt what is going to happen with Tripura BJP in the coming days.

In Tripura, a college student Abhijit Deb was severely beaten up, had undergone stitches after he invited BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman to a blood donation camp at Sabroom’s Michael Madhusudan Dutta College. The boy was referred to GB hospital and today after he was released, along with his father, he met MLA Sudip Roy Barman in his house. MLA Asish Saha was also present at Sudip Braman’s home. Reacting to the incident, MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, “The attackers are cowards. I have come to know who is behind the incident. Also, we are taking notes on who is behind the ongoing attacks and violence in the state. I want to warn all hooligans to rectify themselves”.

Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and senior party leader Sanjay Raut on Friday slammed the Yogi Adityanath government and said that in the coming days, at least 10 Ministers may resign from the Uttar Pradesh government.

The pre-poll churning in Uttar Pradesh has seen the BJP getting a jolt with six MLAs resigning from the party and three ministers quitting amid signals that they will join Samajwadi Party. Dharam Singh Saini became the third minister on Thursday who resigned from the Yogi Adiyanath government in the last four days.

Sanjay Raut, on Friday, in an exclusive interview to ANI said, "This figure will keep on increasing. Look at the way people were working under pressure for five years. No work has happened under BJP's rule. People of Uttar Pradesh are saying that event management does not mean running the government"

"Yesterday I met many unemployed people in the poll-bound state and they want change in Uttar Pradesh. When important ministers, OBC leaders are leaving, you can understand in which direction the wind is blowing," Raut told the media.
