AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Unemployment triggers tension in Tripura due to lack of job opportunities, dry recruitment rate in the State Govt department. On Monday, passed out physiotherapists demanded immediate recruitment saying there has been no recruitment for the last 5 years in Tripura. The job aspirants placed a deputation to the Director of Health Department seeking immediate recruitment. The youths staged a silent protest with banners in their hands.Talking to the media, a job aspirant Debika Deb said, “We have passed out but are sitting at home without any job. We want the Govt to take initiative to recruit us like other departments too. Otherwise, there is no outcome of our Education and Degrees”.

“After 2017, there will be no recruitment. In other departments, still, there are few recruitments but for us, no post was created. As per RTI, there is no post vacant in the physiotherapist but there is no recruitment for the last 5 years. We want our recruitment to be done after creating new posts in a transparent manner”, said Angsuman, a job aspirant.
